Check out freemania. They have a running list of things that are free or nearly free that you may want. Some of the items are product samples. Some are reminders for events (ie. free Arby's sandwich - no purchase necessary). Some are valuable coupons.
Yesterday they had a discount code for use with Restaurant.com. (See our previous post: Eat For 60% Off At Your Favorite Restaurant) The discount code was for 90% off. So a $100 gift certificate would normally be priced at $40, but with the additional discount it comes to $4! Where else can you pick up a $100 item for only $4?

Get Your Own Custom Radio Station
How would you like a radio station that only plays your favorite music? Wouldn't it be even better if you were introduced to music that is similar to your favorite songs and artists? Well, you can have this today.
The Music Genome Project has developed Pandora - a customized radio station. You select an artist or song that you like and Pandora will build a playlist for you with songs from the artist and those whose music is similar. You can tell Pandora whether or not you like a suggested song and it will adjust the song recommendations based on your feedback.
The cool thing is that you can have up to 100 stations of your own. So if you are in the mood to rock, you can do that. If you want to listen to your favorite classical music, you can do that too. Best of all, Pandora is free.

I recently came across a story about a woman in Massachusetts who feeds her family of 6 for about $4 each week. A news crew followed her to a store where she purchased $279 of groceries for only $39.
